The Business School is a standalone institution approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES:

We have full-fledged Placement Cell, which monitors the employment opportunities and arranges campus interviews for the students both on and off campus.

The metamorphosis stage of students being the period of training and skills enhancement in their respective area starts from the very first semester.

Our Campus recruitment program happens during the end of third and the whole of final semester.

The On Campus recruitment program keeps continuing till the end of year, and after that we will be helping our students by arranging Off-Campus Interviews also.

Our management is having a strong policy to not to encourage the companies doing Education & Training activities to attract the students in the name of placement orders by taking payment.

We encourage our students, to attend as many interviews as possible so that each one makes an informed and concrete and our ultimate aim is to make every one walk with a placement order.

In case of students who have the plan to continue with Higher Studies we also extend our co-operation and guidance.

Performance of the Department

Our PPG Business School lays prominence on the placement of the students by rigorous training and wide on-the-job exposure and experience. We also put our might in preparing them to face the real life situation in the due course of their graduation. An elite Placement cell under the guidance of a placement officer collects the data of the graduating students and maintains a comprehensive database for ready reference of the interview committees. The college provides an environment for holistic development and overall personality development. Resource persons and professionals from the field of communication and interpersonal skills are invited for interaction with students to equip them with necessary skills to face the interviews in today's competitive world. Such training experience gives our students a competitive edge in today's global employment market. The students are encouraged to set goal and work towards fulfilling it.

About the Chairman:  Dr. L. P. Thangavelu M.S., FIAS, FIAGES, FICS.,

Dr. L.P. Thangavelu is a senior consultant laparoscopic Surgeon and the President of Indian Medical Association, Tamil Nadu State Branch, Member, Tamil Nadu Medical Council and Tamil Nadu Dental Council and is Vice President of Indian Association of Gastro Enterologist Surgeons. He is a fellow of IAGES and FICS. He has chaired faculty programs and presented scientific papers in National & International Conferences.

He was conferred a Life Time Achievement Award from Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University on November 25, 2011.He was also Honored with Honorary Doctorate by the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University Chennai.

In the year 1992 he has started a Trust in memory of his father P. Perichi Gounder with an objective to give quality education in Health care, Education and Professional Course at affordable cost to all sections of people in and around Coimbatore. He has started a Cancer Centre in the name and style of Coimbatore Cancer Hospital and Research Centre under the banner of the Trust in the year 1992.
